Recovering....

Ngayon lng ulit ako nakabalik to update my blog since my hubby was going thru tough times recently..I rushed my hubby several times to 3 different hospitals already with his illness. Well, it started around June of this year when he felt pain in his abdomen and was rushed to the hospital near us but he doctors ruled it out as an incident of dyspepsia only after being confined for 3 days and he is out. Well, the pain seems to disappear until late this October when he felt the pain again in the same region. I rushed him to St. Luke's Hospital and here he was diagnose with a Cholelithiasis or a presence of stone in his gallbladder but his gastroenterologist cannot perform immediate operation since there's little complication with his liver. He went to 2 weeks of medication until his liver will be ready for the operation. Again, the pain went off unknowingly waiting for a final burst. It was November 25 when he felt it again but this time more pain than ever. We were in the Ortigas district so rushing him to St. Luke's is not an option for us. He was confined here at The Medical City and finally last November 26, 2008 when he undergo Laparoscopic Cholecystectomy. His gallbladder was remove and so the "stone" at talagang nagulat kami sa laki ng nakuhang bato. You can see the picture of it and his wounds...pasensya n lng po medyo kadiri..

Akala ko ok na ang lahat but after 2 days na makalabas kmi ng hospital he felt another pain. It was almost Dec 1 at patulog n kmi na sumakit ng todo ang tiyan nya.. Around 3 AM when I decide to rushed him again to The Medical City. I can see my hubby crying out loud sa pain at pawis na pawis sya yet he felt cold na he even asked the cab driver not to turn the ac on...awang-awang ako sa kanya that time and all I can do is to say to hold on and we're almost there..That is the only time I saw him like that knowing he was already operated so I thought n ok n. I kept on praying since he's really in pain and he started vomiting as well..sa hospital the situation stays the same at sa loob ng ER where he was subjected to several test and laboratories again, CBC, x-rays and even CT-Scan. This confinement was ruled out as acute pancreatitis and learning from his gastro which btw a good doctor since he explain everything to us, that a percentage of people experience this after doing Laparoscopic surgery or after experiencing a gallbladder stone yun nga lng un sa hubby ko naging immediate ang reaksyon.
Now he is feeling better, and was discharged last Fri. He still needs to undergo MRI and ERCP as per his doctors to ensure na hindi na ito mauulit. His gastroenterologist wants to check and make it sure na walang magiging hadlang sa pancreas nya to function correctly. Hopefully after almost 2 consecutive weeks of stay sa hospital (where it seems naging boarding house ko since malapitya sa workplace), a tremendous amount of money spent (buti n lng he got hmo to cover it) and several test done plus considering the take home meds...he will be really well and to recover from it since malaki rin ang pinayat nya...all I can say is with God's help we will surpass this and I'll be here for my hubby.

Hot Spot

Finally, the wait is over!!!! Pah bought na a wireless router.. Yahoo :) kasi our broadband is fixed lang sa room kaya I can't bring the lappy downstairs kahit nabuburyong na me sa bedroom. And now, hehehe at last I can just bring it even if I go to my big bro's house.

Ian bought the Netgear WGR614 somewhere in Cyberzone, MegaMall. It's not pricey compared to LinkSys though D-link is cheaper. Kaya lang di naman daw maganda quality ng Dlink so we chose the Netgear, we got it for 2k only..

I only have 1 pc at home, pero dahil the company lend me Sir John's primitive lappy I can bring it home. So for now, Christian is using the pink lappy and I use the primitive one.. Fair enough kasi magkaiba ang mga gusto namen visit na site.. He loves pictures and movies a lot while I love to read and write something about me and people around me.. I'm so excited, I'm not sure if I can update na my blog lagi kasi I still have to work at home sometimes. Pero, this is one very good tool for me to unwind, I get to say what I want ng walang nag babawal at higit sa lahat walang EOP sa blog.. hahaha.. I can use whatever language, I love to....;P

Chance....

Minsan, nakakapagod na lang talaga not because you're not happy with what you're doing but just because pagod ka na lng talaga. Yung tipong on top of your head you know you have a lot of things to do yet you don't have enough power to do it, kasi nga exhausted ka na..

A lot of things happened so fast but not in an instant. Kung kaibigan kita alam mo siguro sinasabi ko.. I'm almost there, my friends know how much I worked hard and how much I dreamt for this to happen. Now, it finally has come kasi I still have a lot of things to prove. I know this is just the start of the journey, and I am anticipating that not all things will come according to my plan so I better prepare myself for whatever may happen.
Kaya lng minsan parang ang sarap sabihin " Pwede bang tama na muna, break lang kahit sandali peksman" kasi nga tired ka na. I am not complaining, again this is what I always wanted to do, so who am I to complain?!?! It's just that, the feeling is really different like the way you think and the way you see things around you. I just hope that my team understands that it's not that I don't like the way they work, believe me or not, I always believe that we have the best set of people from the root to the stems up to the fruits. We once proved it, probably we just lost the glory.. I hope I can get it back, I will find you and I know I will.. I want to change a lot of things, not the people but probably some things they do, I just hope that they give the chance I need. I hope they understand that what I want is nothing but the best not for me but the best for the team.. Before I start everything, I just hope, I get the chance...

The New PSP 3K???

What?? Did I heard it right?? w**? I just upgraded to the slim version this month and the rumors won't stop about the newest addition to the PSP family...

The event currently going down at Leipzig is now officially more exciting than E3. Taking the ace out of its sleeve, Sony has just officially announced the PSP-3000 at their press conference. Speculate no more folks, here's the skinny.According to David Reeves, the PSP-3000 will have its own built-in microphone, and has an enhanced LCD screen that will “increase intensity and the number of colors that can be displayed – and is easier to view in natural light."That's a pic of it up there. The unit will launch on October 15 in PAL territories, tagged at EUR 199 (US$ 292).

As you can probably guess, Japan's also getting the PSP-3000 in October. The main difference between the Japanese release and the North American release, however, lies in the number of options the Japanese have in grabbing the PSP-3000.According to a recent press release sent out by Sony Japan, the PSP-3000 will come out in the country on October 16 for 19,800 yen (US$ 183). It'll come in three colors as well - Piano Black, Pearl White, and Mystic Silver - with plans for additional colors in the future. The Japanese will also get different bundles to choose from, to coincide with the release of three high-profile games. In order of release, these are Mobile Suit Gundam: Gundam VS Gundam (November 20), Patapon 2 (November 27), and Dissidia: Final Fantasy (December 18). These bundles will be priced at 24,840 yen (US$ 230), 23,800 yen (US$ 220) and 25,890 yen (US$ 240) respectively.

PSP TV out via USB on your LAPTOP

I was reading some website regarding PSP Homebrew when I come across this one, RemoteJoyLite. Nothing fancy but will enable you to output your PSP screen to your laptop or pc…cool!!
RemoteJoyLite is back to bring some large scale fun to display your PSP screen on your PC monitor. The latest version (v0.15) has been released by Akind - a build that takes from TyRaNid's original RemoteJoy application.

Here are the changes for RemoteJoyLite v0.15:

  1. Fixing problems related to “SceCtrlLatch”.
  2. Added TYPE2, TYPE3 picture-transfer modes.
  3. HOME button in POPS working well now.
  4. Gamma correction added.

As an added note, some developers suggest that, if you aren't able to get RemoteJoyLite v0.15 up and running (if you're stuck with a black screen with "WAITING" on the top right), you may want to install Custom Firmware Extender v2.2 and the PSP Type B USB driver.

Here's mine...

Yea, Managers have their own script book

Manager's Script Book by W.h. Weiss
From: Book Sale

I'm so happy to have this book, the cheapest 'business-related' book I've ever purchased. At first I was looking for John Maxwell's coz he's the guru when it comes to "proper team leadership and developing your skills as a leader" stuff like that, but when my hubby and I passed through book sale, we checked if there's anything we can read. Lucky me, I was able to find this one. This maybe old but again, I don't think the proper and intelligent way of handling people changed, it's still the same regardless of the era.. Anyweiz, I'm so excited to read this book I just hope it's worth my time and penny. I'm done with 'relationship' kinda book so now, let's get serious and so I shift to something more mature and not-so-entertaining but full of learning ones. Happy reading for me...

Complaints.. Short story for married couples

They have been married for a long time. As usual they have their ups and downs. One day they had a big fight over his long working hours and things are falling apart. He was disappointed and she was angry.

After one week of silence treatment from her wife, he approached her with papers and pencils. He suggested that both of them sit down on the dining table and write down on paper what they are not happy about each other. They will then exchange the papers and discuss.

So the wife started to write without looking up because she has a lot to write about her frustration. The husband took a long look at the wife and he too started to write.

After fifteen minutes of writing, they look at each other and exchange the papers. The husband looked at the paper full of complaints. She was angry.

When the wife looked at his paper, she was embarrassed and quickly tears away her own paper. On his paper, he wrote for two full pages:

"I love you, honey"
