I'm so happy to have this book, the cheapest 'business-related' book I've ever purchased. At first I was looking for John Maxwell's coz he's the guru when it comes to "proper team leadership and developing your skills as a leader" stuff like that, but when my hubby and I passed through book sale, we checked if there's anything we can read. Lucky me, I was able to find this one. This maybe old but again, I don't think the proper and intelligent way of handling people changed, it's still the same regardless of the era.. Anyweiz, I'm so excited to read this book I just hope it's worth my time and penny. I'm done with 'relationship' kinda book so now, let's get serious and so I shift to something more mature and not-so-entertaining but full of learning ones. Happy reading for me...

Complaints.. Short story for married couples

They have been married for a long time. As usual they have their ups and downs. One day they had a big fight over his long working hours and things are falling apart. He was disappointed and she was angry.

After one week of silence treatment from her wife, he approached her with papers and pencils. He suggested that both of them sit down on the dining table and write down on paper what they are not happy about each other. They will then exchange the papers and discuss.

So the wife started to write without looking up because she has a lot to write about her frustration. The husband took a long look at the wife and he too started to write.

After fifteen minutes of writing, they look at each other and exchange the papers.The husband looked at the paper full of complaints. She was angry.

When the wife looked at his paper, she was embarrassed and quickly tears away her own paper. On his paper, he wrote for two full pages:

"I love you, honey"

Quote *ku 'wwot) for the day..

"Never explain yourself to anyone because the person who likes you doesn't need it. And the person who dislikes you won't believe it"

Love needs time, True indeed

Once upon a time, there was an island where all the feelings lived:Happiness, Sadness, Knowledge, and all of the others including Love.
One day it was announced to all of the feelings that the island was going to sink to the bottom of the ocean. So all the feelings prepared their boats to leave. Love was the only one that stayed. She wanted to preserve the island paradise until the last possible moment. When the island was almost totally under, love decided it was time to leave.She began looking for someone to ask for help. Just then Richness was passing by in a grand boat. Love asked, Richness, Can I come with u on ur boat? Richness answered, I’m sorry, but there is a lot of silver & gold on my boat & there would be no room for u anywhere.
Then Love decided to ask Vanity for help who was passing in a beautiful vessel. Love cried out, Vanity, help me please. I can't help u, Vanity said, "u are all wet & will damage my beautiful boat.Next, Love saw Sadness passing by. Love said, Sadness please let me go with u. Sadness answered, Love, I'm sorry, but I just need to be alone now.
Then, Love saw Happiness. Love cried out, Happiness, please take me with u. But Happiness was so overjoyed that he didn't hear Love calling to him. Love began to cry. Then, she heard a voice say, Come Love, I will take u with me. It was an elder. Love felt so blessed & overjoyed that she forgot to ask the elder his name. When they arrived on land the elder went on his way. Love realized how much she owed the elder.
Love then found Knowledge & asked who was it that helped me? It was Time, Knowledge answered. But why did Time help me when no one else would? Love asked. Knowledge smiled & with deep wisdom & sincerity, answered, Because only Time is capable of understanding how great
Love is….Love seems the swiftest, but it is the slowest of all growths. No man or woman really knows what perfect love is until they have been married a quarter of a century. And moreover Time is a companion that goes with us on a journey. It reminds us to cherish each moment, because it will never come again. What we leave behind is not as important as how we have lived…

Welcome Back, Anne..

Hello mga ka-blogs, it's been 2 months since I last visited my own site (but I always make sure to spare time visiting my friends' blog sites).. Mas masarap magbasa kesa magsulat (well that's for me) coz it takes time and effort to post no.. And besides mas madaling mag criticize sa grammar ng iba kesa mag-compose ng tamang sentence/paragraph.. hehehe..

Anyweiz, I can't promise when will be my next post kasi naman medyo hectic ang sked dito.. Toxic ang dame ng workload. Sa sobrang dame you don't know where to start. Sometimes nga you're not yet done doing something you have another load.. hayz it's so overwhelming yet so tiring, Kaya yun minsan nagrereklamo na mister ko, everytime na lng daw magkasama kami I always fall asleep or sometimes if he's telling stories I always ask for the gist just tell him to go straight to the point. I completely understand how he feels and I feel sorry for him. Kasi naman, even if I want to stay awake while with him, I just can't help it. Minsan nga pati ako nagugulat nakaktulog na pala ako (can you imagine that?!?!?).. Ganun talaga kapag working ka (I mean working ha not pretending to be one --hmmm) .. I have so many stories to tell but again I'm so overwhelmed that i don't even know where to start.. So better yet, don't share it mastress pa me remembering those stuff. hehehehe.. I'll just post it everytime I remember it.. get it??!?!..

I have ample time today kaya Im able to post something, but still doing my normal workload, multi-tasking ika nga.. Laking Call Center eh.. So many changes, minsan nagugulat na lng ako kaya lang no choice, EMBRACE CHANGES ika ko nga... So this iz it for now.. meron pa pala akong ipo-post na drama..

Mitsubishi Hello Kitty Limited edition

This the "Hello Kitty Princess" car manufactured by Mitsubishi Japan last June 2006. Limited as in literal na limited coz they just made 1. As far as I know it was displayed in a deparment store in Japan from July 25 - July 31. From the 25th to the 29th at 10:20 AM local time, interested buyers can register for the opportunity to buy the car. At 10:30 on the 29th, one name will be pulled and that person will be allowed to buy the car for ¥2,100,000 -- 200,000 of which goes to Japan's UNICEF. -- this is roughly Php889, 282.05 (not bad!! amfft)

Here's a pic on the interior upholstery.. hayyyy I doubt if my dad will bother hitching.. Hubby will surely enjoy this as well (No choice.. wahhh)
